N.I.C.E Place - New Intervention with Creative Education on Local participation and engagement

"N.I.C.E (New Intervention with Creative Education) Place" ist ein Trainingskonzept, das ein kreatives Setting für TeilnehmerInnen bereithält, die in den Bereichen Lokale Teilhabe oder Bürgerbeteiligung bereits aktiv sind oder aktiv werden wollen. Das Training richtet sich an junge Menschen, Jugendorganisationen und NutzerInnen von Erasmus+ Jugend in Aktion, die vor allem in der Key Action 3: Strukturierter Dialog Projekte entwickeln wollen.

The European Union defined from the 2020 Strategy a need of an intelligent growth sustained in Erasmus+ Programme as key leader.
N.I.C.E - New Intervention with Creative Education is a contribution Training Scheme to Support Erasmus+ Youth in order to empower young persons and Youth organizations to develop Erasmus + projects and promote the recognition of Non Formal Education and Its role in EU 2020 Strategy.
N.I.C.E is Non Formal Education for Erasmus + Empowerment.
The current proposal was defined after a strong SWOT analysis of Erasmus+ Programme and after designed with support of a SMART evaluation.
The result of this creative process was the need to find answers and approaches in order to achieve Horizontal and Vertical strategies to truly empower the Erasmus+ training scheme.
The N.I.C.E TC Concept brings innovation on the practice of Non Formal Education and present 3 Blocs of trainings that will empower the work of Youth Organizations on Erasmus+ Key Actions, on Non Formal Education and in the framework of 2020 main objectives.
The all Training Course is a simulation process to develop a creative training process and address the training thematic on a very efficient and innovative way;

N.I.C.E Place Scenario

The Main Facilitator was elected Mayor of Erasmian City. He is the Youngest Mayor in all Europe and he wants to drive young people for more active role in the development of his city. He plans to turn the City of Erasmian, European Youth Capital in 2020.
The team of Alderman’s (Trainers) with Experts from all over Europe (participants) will work together for 7 days in Évora in order to develop an Action Plan. Mayor and Alderman’s will only facilitate and not interfere in the out coming results of the TC.

Aims and goals of the Training Course

* Local Level Youth Participation within the framework of Erasmus+
* Empower future project within the KA3 SD
* Empower and promote Youthpass during the TC
*Enrolment of Youth Organizations at Local Level
* Empower and develop tools on Structured Dialogue with KA3
* Recognize, Identify and celebrate shared Citizenship values.
* Recognize priorities and directions for Local Development in the framework of Erasmus+
* Engage and empower different and diverse groups.
* Promote Innovation on Local Level Networks - Consortiums
* Provide fully documented results that can be easily turned into action plans.
* Support friendly discussions while efficiently leading to practical conclusions.
* Give a voice to even the quietest of participants.

Project Methodology

N.I.C.E Place combines an innovative approach with a dual methodology recognized by Erasmus + Programme, Non Formal Education – Structured Dialogue
Process to link local participation and local youth engagement between youth organizations and decision makers with the support of Erasmus+ KA3.
